SecretRank about the beat to “Omori Omori” Guziora.

Continuing our series of articles where producers talk about their job on new single our attention was brought to SecretRank beat to the music “Omori Omori” Guziora.

Beat was made in spring of last year. Guzior sent me the parts where was great piece of violin bow. Inspired by this I want do something different something unique.

In the beat was used plugs like: Engine 2 – screenshot from bus on mixer below:

As you see I didn’t use any compression as it sounds good already.

Violin bow parts come from Miroslav Philkarmonik plug. Midbass from Absynth 5 contains pieces from fabfilter Saturn. Subbas from Sylenth 1. Cutting vocal which you can find on some verse is from Contact 5 plug. Vocal is brought up by pluck from Spire plug. Master channel look like this:

Background which is from beginning I got also from Engine 2 plug.

On percussion I put EQ and NY compression. On snare drum similar and on others drum parts you won’t find anything extra – for example for Open Hat I place longer delay.

I use 2 reverbs – shorts and long from the standard FL Fruity Reverb plug which I place on Send channels.

In my opinion whole sounds well especially that beat was made at home. Final beat has 4 version. First was not so good compare to fourth which you can listen now :D.

On it’s simplicity this project create some sort of climate – despite of some people not really like my beats 😀
